ABOUT THIS POSITION

The City of Phoenix Housing Department is committed to creating, promoting, and sustaining diversified and affordable housing opportunities, while empowering residents' stability and economic independence. As part of this mission, the department owns approximately 5,000 units of public and affordable housing, manages over 7,300 housing choice vouchers, and collaborates with for-profit and nonprofit partners to foster additional affordable housing opportunities.

The Housing Department is currently seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and high-performing individual to fill a Project Manager position in the Affordable Housing Division. The Affordable Housing Division is instrumental in implementing the City Council-approved Housing Phoenix Plan (HPP), which aims to create or preserve 50,000 market, workforce, and affordable housing units by 2030 through nine policy initiatives. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in realizing the HPP's objectives which include amending city ordinances, promoting public-private partnerships, establishing new affordable housing programs, and redeveloping city-owned property.
